Your Eclips3 Kitchens technician will:
- Coordinate a time with you to examine your kitchen or bathroom cabinet resurfacing project & review your options.
- Book the custom cabinet painting project during a timeframe that works for you.
- Prep and detail the job using masking tape, paper & plastic to protect surfaces not requiring resurfacing.
- Sweep, vacuum, and remove debris from the area daily so that you can use your kitchen as much as possible after-hours.
Of course! We realize the importance of working with a licensed and insured contractor that not only provides the essential services you’re looking for, but with the protection from liability should anything go wrong. We’re happy to share proof of our licensing and insurance with you as well as to discuss the protections available as part of our coverage.
Sometimes. Each kitchen is fundamentally different, and so are the cabinets inside as well as the way the cabinets, and any other elements such as countertops or hardware, are installed. We can sometimes make small adjustments to cabinet layout such as:
- Eliminating an over the fridge cabinet.
- Adding a cabinet over the stove where a microwave once was.
- Removing a cabinet from over the stove.
- Adjusting the layout of corner cabinets.
- Converting an existing cabinet to a hidden trash can.
- Adding additional storage or shelves to cabinets.
- Adding cabinetry to a pantry.
We try to clean up as much as possible after each work day so that you can retain use of your kitchen in between the project. Once the project is complete, you may immediately begin using your kitchen there is no long wait period or cure time required.

Eclips3 Kitchens offers free in-home consultations to help you understand the various cabinet painting and refinishing options related to your aesthetic preferences as well as any practical features which may apply to your unique cabinet situation. An in-person visit allows us to better understand your kitchen & the cabinetry in your home so that we may communicate the most practical solutions we offer to help you achieve results you’ll love.
Depending on the size of your kitchen transformation, the exact method of refinishing or resurfacing used, and several other factors your project could be finished in under a week. Your technician will explain the timeframe, what to expect, and next steps in the process.
You don’t, but we will! Dismantling the cabinets is a part of the restoration process, but it’s NOT something we want you to do ahead of time! At Eclips3 Kitchens, we take kitchen and bathroom cabinets apart daily, so we know the little tricks, short-cuts, and “hacks” that will allow us to dismantle your cabinets without damaging the surfaces or any of the hardware. Rest assured, we’ll do all of the dismantling and any work required to put the cabinets back together when we’re done so you don’t have to.
